Watercolor Sketching and Journaling

A watercolor sketchbook can be a journal about your everyday life, emotions, or thoughts. It can be a travel journal to record the things you see while sightseeing, or a way to to capture the experience of a memorable day. Take your journal hiking and sketch trees and wildlife, and include facts about them. Sketching is a great way to create an art habit, benefits of which include building new connections and pathways in our brain, observational skills, relaxation, stress relief, and being present in the moment. Sketching is not about perfection, so beginners are welcome. In this class you will be introduced to numerous watercolor sketching and basic lettering techniques to use in your journal pages. Projects will be included to allow you to practice the techniques and adapt them to your own style.
