Music as a Mirror of History, Part II New

Music as a Mirror of History Part 2 will complete a survey of of composers of classical music in the western tradition within the context of historical events that influenced their creations. Great Courses video lectures featuring Dr. Robert Greenberg will cover Verdi, Wagner, Dvorak, Shostakovich, Copland and others from the mid-19th century to the late 20th century. The course instructor will add commentary and musical selections appropriate to the lecture content.
