Take advantage of built-in features available on modern cameras to enhance your photographs, capture compelling images, and make your photographic subjects stand out. Select the proper camera modes to capture moving subjects, photograph small details, ensure deep depth of field for landscapes, and make interesting portraits. Video lectures by National Geographic photographer Joe Sartore will be augmented by additional instruction and materials provided in person by OLLI instructors. Two or three field trips will be scheduled for the class to exercise what is being taught. You will be challenged to apply lessons to your photographs and to bring examples of your efforts to class for constructive critique.
