Dressmaker Studio

Achieve a unique look and perfectly tailored fit for women's clothing by working from a custom pattern. Designers will take a hands-on approach to high-end style and more advanced sewing technique by taking their project from inspiration all the way to a fabulous one-of-a-kind fitted garment. Learn about seams, darts, pleats, grading, lining, interfacings, stiffening, buttonholes, fibers, and fabrics; each will affect how your finished garment fits and drapes.

Projects: Design and draft a custom-fitted dressmaker's pattern. Use your pattern to create a fashionable tailored garment.
