This course provides students a foundational understanding of athlete-centered coaching. The class will focus on building a coaching philosophy, administrative duties, teaching strategies, motivational techniques, and organizational skills needed to be an effective coach. Upon completion of course students will meet NFHS level 1 coaching education requirements. Students may also enroll for university credit as PEX 201.
