Introduction to Landscape Photography New

Capture stunning landscape images, whether you are exploring locally or travelling. Gain knowledge of useful terminology, study concepts of composition, and better understand the natural light necessary to create beautiful landscape photographs. We will review the basic equipment requirements including camera, lens, shutter release, and tripod as well as highlight a few helpful accessories and software applications. In preparation for our time in the field, we will also discuss equipment for safety, fitness, and good practices to stay safe and protect the environment. There will be 9 hours of in-class training and 3 hours of in-field training. Students are required to bring their DLSR cameras to all sessions. A tripod and shutter release is recommended for all sessions. A circular polarizing filter is strongly recommended for the in-field training.
