Cannabis & the Opioid Epidemic

Pain is one of the most common health conditions for which people use cannabis. In this course, discuss how some patients are using less opiates as a result of effective cannabis therapy. Examine existing research that explore the relationship between cannabis and the opioid epidemic, and how patients alter their health and quality of life with cannabis.

You can anticipate the course taking approximately three hours to complete. You can register for this course any time between the listed start date and five business days prior to the end date. You will receive your online access one week prior to the start date. Live question and answer sessions will be available and scheduled.

Prerequisite: Students must be at least 21 years old. Students will need access to a computer and internet and understand how to navigate a learning management system.
