The Try of Poetry (Maryland)

Creative and welcoming, this class invites you to explore poetry by reading a poem or two, and discussing the meaning and your experience. You will write your own poems in a similar or different vein. Each week, you’ll reflect on their meaning, and use them as inspiration for your own work. From formal structures to avant-garde styles, you’ll try it all—and share the fun along the way.
