Get constructive feedback and technique advice on an in-progress personal project. Using a current art piece in any medium as a jumping off point, explore composition, color theory, brush and non-brush techniques, and tips for mixing media. On day one you will bring the actual work you want help with. You will receive tips, tricks, technical help, and classically-inspired workarounds and solutions. Ask lots of questions, take copious notes; you will likely find peers are having similar issues! On day two, you will bring back the work with the changes/modifications. You can bring your equipment and work on site. You will learn to think about your projects in creative, fresh ways, and practice giving and receiving actionable peer critique. Start to trust your instincts and experience to become your own most helpful coach instead of your own harshest judge.
