This week-long camp engages elementary students entering grades 3-5 in hands-on science and engineering activities that investigate the world around them. Students will learn about (and taste) the power of the Sun, explore the desert ecosystem, measure climate change effects, observe human impacts, identify emerging scientific problems, and use the engineering design process to develop solutions to environmental issues and everyday problems. Requirements: curious mind, fun spirit, and sense of adventure!
