Brand identity is the comprehensive impression the consumer receives from a product, person, or business. Crafting and cultivating the message that differentiates a company, product, or individual from the competition is an essential skill in design and business. Delve into contemporary practices of corporate brand identity design by reviewing and discussing brand-building concepts. You will research and analyze the strategies utilized in advertising and be able to identify all aspects of the brand: its proposition (what), its purpose (why), its brand positioning (where and how), and its brand personality and values (who).
The class is being offered in a Hybrid format, meaning students can choose to attend the course in-person or online via UNLVGO (the university's learning management system) and Zoom. As an in-person student, you will have the flexibility to attend the class in-person or online as your schedule and preference dictates; however, if you choose to register as an online student, you will only be allowed to participate online exclusively. You will not have the option of visiting the class in-person.
