Binnie Wilkin Binnie Tate Wilkin is a writer and professional storyteller. At the virtual conference of the National Storytelling Network 2021, she received an ORACLE award for storytelling excellence in the Western Region of the U.S. Stories recorded in December 2020, for the Neon Museum of Las Vegas are currently being used in CCUSD schools. Wilkin practiced storytelling as a Children's Specialist and Minority Services Coordinator for public libraries. Storytelling was also among the subjects she taught in prominent Library Schools including Columbia University and UCLA. Her book published by Roman and Littlefield, A Life in Storytelling contains instructional materials on the art of storytelling.
