| Thomas Bumblauskas attended the College of DuPage, and the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. During his college career he studied 2- D and 3-D art, with an emphasis in theatrical design. This training combined with his early exposure to pottery has lead him to the expressive forms he is currently exploring. Thomas has studied at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore Clay Works in Baltimore, MD. He has also taken classes/workshops with Debra Fritts, Randy Brodnax, Po-Ching Fang, Tom Turner, Gareth Mason, Cynthia Bringle, Connie Norman and has assisted Tom Coleman on a number of workshops. Thomas has also taught drawing, 3-D design and pottery throughout the United States. He continues to share his love of ceramics by offering workshops in his throwing and altering techniques. Thomas is also a recognized theatrical designer with many theatre, opera, film and television credits. He currently resides in Las Vegas, NV where he is one of the owners, resident artists, and teachers of CLAY ARTS VEGAS, LLC - the only studio, ceramics gallery, and clay supply in the Las Vegas Arts District.
