Do you have an intuitive sense that being kinder to yourself would serve you, but you are not sure where to begin? Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) course topics to be covered are: practice self-compassion in your daily life, understand benefits of self-compassion, motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism, handle difficult emotions with greater ease, and manage caregiver fatigue. Studies show the benefits of MSC include: practicing self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, less anxiety, depression and stress, maintenance of healthy habits such as diet and exercise, and satisfying personal relationships. Through classroom exercises, mindfulness practices and discussion during the eight-week course, you can gain insight and self-awareness.
