Targeted training can help social work and mental health professionals better identify suicide completion risk and gain familiarity with assessment instruments for both adults and adolescents. Attendees will discuss cultural and historical considerations related to suicide within various geographic communities. You will explore risk and protective factors, learn to plan for safe care transitions, and see how creating organizational linkages leads to better outcomes for clients. This course is approved for 3 CEUs by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Nevada Board of Examiners for MFTs and CPCs, and the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners.
