Improve your medical Spanish fluency, vocabulary and ability to interact more in depth with Spanish speakers in a healthcare context. Building on what you learned in Medical Spanish I, you will learn and practice intermediate oral communication and listening strategies, to further develop your ability to speak and understand Spanish in a healthcare context. In class lecture and practice sessions will cover specialized medical vocabulary, grammar structures, pronunciation, communication strategies, and cross-cultural issues.
Prerequisite: Spanish for Healthcare Professionals I, Medical Spanish I, or Spanish I, or equivalent.
