Successful fundraisers know the importance of building relationships. Embrace a donor-centric and data-driven approach to identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospects. You will analyze donor psychology and behavior fundamentals to have a better understanding of why people give. Explore the full life cycle of working with donors, including prospect research, how to connect, making the ask, and acknowledging gifts. Gain a full understanding of where each member of the development team fits into the overall development plan and the role each plays in the donor life cycle.
Prerequisite: Must have taken Responsible Fundraising or have comparable experience.
