Divine Vintage New

Divine Vintage follows the biblical vine trail from Noah to the present day and the role wine has played in worship and everyday life. Participants will be able to taste wines of the Levant in context of their place in biblical history and learn about their impact on modern winemaking practices. The class will provide an introduction to tasting and evaluating wine, highlight significant historical moments, and cultural trends over several thousand years. There will be some commentary on how wine is characterized in the bible along with passages of scripture that encourage both enjoyment and cautionary advice.

Prerequisite: Students must be 21 or older

To ensure students receive login information and access to classes, registration for online classes will be shut down 3 business days prior to the class start date unless otherwise noted.
