Shakespeare for the Elizabethan Impaired New

Designed specifically for adults who were previously turned off by Shakespeare, this lively and interactive class offers a fresh revisit to his works in a fun, pressure-free environment. We'll explore the fascinating context of Elizabethan theater, including the historical reasons why the plays were written, and examine the controversial question: Did Shakespeare actually write these plays? Activities such as "Shakespeare News of the Week" and voluntary readings aloud will keep the class engaging, and we'll link topics to any live performances or film versions happening during the course run. Come discover why Shakespeare continues to surprise and endure.
