Digital Photography II: Tools, Techniques & Lighting

Learn how to shape and control light for stunning portraits, whether you're working outdoors or in the studio. This course covers natural light techniques and how to use a reflector to enhance and modify light effectively. You'll also dive into studio lighting setups, working with speed lights, strobes, and multiple modifiers to create different looks—from soft and natural to bold and dramatic. Beyond lighting, we’ll cover equipment setup and positioning to help you maximize your creative control. Through hands-on demonstrations, you’ll experiment with directional lighting and portrait lighting techniques to craft dynamic and eye-catching images. Whether you're building a foundation or refining your skills, this course will give you the confidence to create striking portraits in any setting.
