Bail Agent Continuing Education

Bail Agents are required under Nevada law to complete a 3-hour program of continuing education to renew the bail agent’s license. This course will include the essential information for renewing the bail agent’s license, including the relevant statutes and regulations, duties of licensee’s, records management, agreements, premium and charges, collateral, apprehension and surrender, prohibited acts, advertising, bail forfeitures, and court terminating liability. Instruction will be provided in compliance with the rules of the Nevada Division of Insurance and Nevada courts. Pending approval, this course fulfills the “Nevada Continuing Education Course” as required by the Nevada Division of Insurance.

Prerequisite: Must currently possess a Bail Agent license through the Nevada Division of Insurance.
