Tai chi is a traditional Chinese internal martial art that combines slow flowing movements with deep breathing and focused awareness. Originally developed for self defense, it is now widely practiced for health, balance, stress reduction, and overall well-being. While the movements appear gentle, tai chi contains practical martial applications rooted in balance, sensitivity and redirection rather than a force-against-force resistance.
