Learners examine the principles of effective nonprofit governance, focusing on the roles, responsibilities, and legal duties of the board of directors. The course covers best practices in board recruitment, engagement, and the critical board-staff partnership. This course includes: Foundational Course: Sept 28 & 30 (Mon and Wed) from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM Lab: Oct 10 (Sat) 8:30am to 10:30am Mastery Project Due: Oct 17 (Sat)
