The field of book making has become a popular art form. You will enjoy learning how to fold and glue sheets of paper in various ways to create artist books. There are dozens of folding techniques we will explore as we create the pages in your book. For example, you will learn how to fold an accordion book and then that accordion fold becomes the basis for what is called a flag book. We will also create a small book that opens with a folded map inside. The focus of this class is on creating books that are art pieces that you can hold in your hand. This class is fun and creative as we also experiment with various art making techniques on the pages inside your book.
