This 8-week class will cover basic horticulture principles that may be different for successful gardening in Southern Nevada. Each week a Master Gardener from the local Extension office will cover topics such as Desert Gardener overview, Garden Safety, Fruit Trees, Roses, Vegetables, Soil, Herbs, and Native Plants. Classes are held at the Extension facility (8050 Paradise) and will include lecture and hands-on components.
