Cybersecurity basics and protecting yourself will be covered. This class will describe how a typical home or small business network, wired and wireless are set up, and what network components are and their purpose. Terminology-definitions and uses will be covered. Learn what is in your control and what isn't where cybersecurity is involved. There will be a look at protective software and what it's used for. Access and passwords. Laws, regulations, executive orders, and rules will be explored. Sessions will finish with questions and discussion.
