Trauma-Informed Yoga: Free Session
Please join the Founder of We Rise Yoga, Alexis Wisniewski E-RYT for an introductory class on Trauma-Informed Yoga on June 9th, at 10AM. Students will learn how the nervous system becomes dysregulated and the basic components of trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices that can help to mitigate symptoms and/or syndromes related to past trauma or mental illness. This class is free and open to the public. Space is limited. First come, first serve. Please bring a yoga mat, a water and wear comfortable clothing. This is a beginner course, but students should be able to get up and down from the floor as needed.
