AGREEMENT: UNLV's School of Medicine has partnered with DEO to offer CEUs to attendees of training sessions it's offering in partnership with The Center for Mind Body Medicine. DEO will provide the organizers flyers instructing interested participants how to register and pay for the CEUs. Each student will be charged $35 for the recording service. Upon receipt of the student's CEU payment, DEO will contact the Coordinator and confirm that the student earned CEUs. After confirmation is received, a Letter of Atendance will be generated and mailed directly to the student. COURSE DESCRIPTION: CMBM’s 5-day Online Professional Training Program (PTP) is a blend of didactic instruction and large and small group experiences of evidence-based mind-body techniques. Over the course of 5 days, participants will themselves receive the benefits of extensive and in-depth psychological support while simultaneously being equipped with didactic instruction on the scientific basis for CMBM’s model and methods. The training includes extensive material on the biology and psychology of stress and trauma and on the research supporting the CMBM approach. The training also includes extensive instruction on foundational, evidence-based skills of self-care, self-awareness and group support for participants to use and to share with others in their lives and communities. Please note that unlike other more traditional training programs, this program is designed to be highly experiential. What this means is that participants will learn and be taught about the techniques and the model through their own first-hand experience of the techniques and the model. Later in the advanced training, building on their personal experiences, participants will learn how to share the techniques and models with others in their community.
