Casino Operations and the Law

Course Description:

This course will go over a basic understanding of gaming law and the regulatory schemes used by gaming operators, manufacturers, distributors and vendors. This course will focus on understanding gaming business and operations from the operator and consumer perspective, and will go over the myriad of legal and practical issues faced by businesses, executives, board of directors, and legal counsel (in-house and outside) face on a daily basis.

Course Delivery:

The program will be offered in an Asynchronous format with course content hosted on the university's non-credit learning management system, UNLVGO, powered by Canvas. Designed to be completed over three months, participants will be able to complete 20-25 hours of training with each course through the online portal. Faculty may choose to organize virtual meetings as part of the online program.

Cancellation Policy:

If you must cancel your registration, please send an email to sarah.gonzales@unlv.edu. Requests submitted on or before June 17, 2022 will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee minus a $100 administrative fee.
