Using a biopsychosocial model of 18 risk factors for violence towards others, this training will culminate in an exercise intended to increase your abilities to assess violence and threat risk efficiently and with increased accuracy. The session will end with a presentation and discussion on the difference between affective violence and predatory violence including psychopathy and sexual violence. This course is approved for 3 CEUs by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Nevada Board of Examiners for MFTs and CPCs, and the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners.
