The Frick Collection is an internationally-recognized premier museum known for its distinguished Old Masters paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts. Assembled by Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Clay Frick, it is housed in his former residence on Fifth Avenue in New York City. In this course, we will look closely at individual pieces by such artists as Bellini, Vermeer, Gainsborough, and others featured in The Frick Collection’s online video series launched during the COVID shut-down, “Cocktails with the Curator.”
