Documentary Photography

Explore the captivating world of documentary photography by learning its fundamental principles and ethics. You will analyze the impactful works of renowned documentary photographers to understand how they capture and narrate real-world events. The course will guide you in developing a strong photo story concept based on your personal observations. Your main project will involve creating, editing, and captioning a mini photo essay consisting of 5 to 10 images. This will culminate in a presentation and critique session, where you and your classmates will share and discuss your visual narratives.
