Gain insight into the importance of, and the need for awareness, prevention, and intervention to assist individuals and families that experience a Perinatal Mood and/or Anxiety Disorder. You will discuss and understand the definitions, prevalence, and stigmatization surrounding this population, and review current research, assessment, and treatment strategies for people with maternal and paternal perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADS). This course is approved for 3 CEUs by the NV Board of Examiners for Social Workers and the NV Board of Examiners for MFTs & CPCs.
