"How Musical Theatre can change your life" is a truth for the participants in musical theatre (creators, performers and designers) that has been visited in past semesters. This semester, going one further, looking at the shows and moments in Musical Theatre that move and change you-the audience member! You will look at certain shows in particular, as well as deeper dives into the works of the book, writers, lyricists, composers and choreographers that push you to further connect with this wonderful art form! You will still pay attention to the current theatre season as we approach the Tony Awards (June 8, 2025), as well as theatrical happenings in Las Vegas. Come join us! If this is your 1st semester or your 15th semester in this class, there is always more to learn about this wonderful American tradition.
