Experimenting with Gelli Print Techniques (Maryland)

Looking for a chance to experiment with print making? Then you might want to try Experimenting with Gelli Printing Techniques because this class will encourage you to try anything! What is Gelli printing? It is a method of creating a mono print by applying acrylic paint onto a reusable plate made of a clear, flexible gelatin-like material called a Gelli plate. In this class, you will learn to apply acrylic paint to the surface of a Gelli plate, press a sheet of paper onto the plate and then pull a print. You could use the prints to make collages and books and frameable art works. Don’t wear your best clothes. This is a messy class. Be prepared to explore and experiment!
