Arguably, some of the best movies filmmaker John Huston and actor Humphrey Bogart made, they made together. Over the course of their friendship, they created some of Hollywood’s most enduring films, including “The Maltese Falcon,” “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre,” and “The African Queen.” In this class, we will screen these and some others of their notable works. Additionally, documentaries and interviews will provide glimpses into how their lives and creative work intersected. The collaboration of Huston and Bogart left an indelible mark on motion picture history. Come find out why.
