The course will offer a step-by-step guide to choosing the right care option for loved ones. It will cover types of care settings, availability, and cost, how to select and pay for one. Students will create budgets, timelines, pros and cons of selling and keeping real estate. Students will gain an understanding into Medicare and Medicaid coverage, Aid-in-Attendance and in general have an understanding of the Nevada system of care and resources for aging adults.
