A poetic survey of popular music lyrics across genres like rock, hip-hop, blues, country and more. The class will focus on the poetry of words more than the music itself, although both are connected. Our journey will do deep dives into legends like Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. Along the way, we will bask in nostalgia, spark new insights, and connecte the power of lyrics across time.
